BACKBLAZE EXPERT REVIEW PC Backup BackBlaze

I have 35+ years experience in the IT industry and one of the most important companion to have for your computer is a reliable offsite / Cloud backup.  I have tested many backup products however, I can highly recommend Backblaze for backing up your computer at home or in a small business setting.  Below are some advantages and disadvantage of using BackBlaze.  

Advantages 

• Storage: One of BackBlaze's biggest advantage is that It provides you unlimited storage and doesn’t limit the size of files you back up.  This is a great option for those with larger files, pictures and videos.  Other companies will charge you more for larger files and back up sets.

• Interface: Backblaze has a simple and easy to use interface for backing up your computer.  The software supports both Mac and Windows Platforms.  The setup wizard gets you backing up your files to the Cloud in no time.

•  Cost: Get peace of mind knowing your files are backed up securely in the cloud. Cost to Back up your Mac or PC is just $7/month or $70 a year.

Disadvantages 

• Subscription:  A subscription only covers just one computer and most people have more than one computer to backup.  There is also no backups options currently for phones.

• Restores: Restoring large files and backup sets can take a while over the internet.  They do have an option to mail you a copy of your data on a drive.
